ArcStar Partners to Deliver Integrated Solar/CHP Solution
Companies Combine Solar with Gas Turbine for Industrial Applications
New York, NY, June, 2009 - ArcStar Energy has partnered with industrial energy outsourcing specialist XTnrgy to develop an innovative industrial power solution that leverages the strenghts of utility-grade solar and advanced combined heat and power (CHP) gas turbines. Economical baseload power is provided by the turbine while solar reduces peak utility demand. The two technologies are unified in an innovative Power Purchase Agreement which locks down electricity rates for 20 years. The two companies believe that large industrial customers will embrace the opportunity to hedge their energy costs, increase their energy reliability and reduce their carbon footprint dramatically when they build or refurbish their electrical plant.

ArcStar Utility Scale Project Receives Funding Commitment
Diablo Grande Ranch and Resort Community to be the site of 53 Megawatt Solar Project .
Stanislaus County, California, October 2010 - ArcStar Energy client World International, owner of the 33,000 acre Diablo Grande Ranch and Resort Community in Northern California has executed an agreement to jointly finance and build Phase 1 of the 53 Megawatt Diablo Grande solar project. Under the agreement, World and partner Solar Power Partners will jointly fund and build 13 Megawatts of utility-scale solar planned for Phase 1 of the project. The agreement also envisions joint development of the 40MW Phase 2 project subject to completion of final feasibility studies. Solar Power Partners, located in San Francisco, is a leader and pioneer in the financing and development of commercial and utility solar projects in North America. ArcStar has been the principal energy development advisor to the property owner and developer since the inception of the project.

ArcStar Selected to Power Pan-African Network with Innovative Solar Design
ArcStar has been awarded the contract to provide specially-designed solar energy production and storage systems to ViaSat's network lab and test bed in Maryland. Upon succesful customer factory acceptance testing, ViaSat will deploy thousands of solar powered VSAT terminals to provide satellite-based Internet voice and data communitcations to eight sub-Saharan nations in Africa. ArcStar has been supporting ViaSat's efforts to power remote communications terminals with cost-effective mission-crtical solar energy since 2008.

ArcStar group announces availability of investment-grade Solar Development Services in Ontario.
Toronto, ON, July 4, 2009 - ArcStar Energy is pleased to announce the availability of its Solar Development Services in Ontario. The group, located in Toronto, is responsible for site qualification, acquisition and development services for ArcStar investors and development partners. The group is also responsible for managing strategic partnerships and relations with utilities, regulators and government entities. The partners are established Ontario veterans of technical site development, environmental engineering, risk management and engineering and construction management. The SDS group is responsible for securing solar projects to be developed under the Ontario Feed in Tarrif. Their expertise enables ArcStar to bring a full suite of site acquisition and development services to Ontario banks, solar developers and solar energy investors.
